Welcome to Year 3!

Here is some key information:

Class teacher: Miss Gent

Class TA: Mrs Clough (Monday to Thursday mornings) 

Cover: Mrs Campbell (Wednesdays) 

Homework will be handed out on a Wednesday and needs to be returned the following Monday. 

Spelling tests will take place every Monday. Please make sure you practice with your child. They can also practice using SpellingFrame .

Logins for Spelling Frame and TTRS are in the back of children's homework books. 

This term, PE will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school.

This term we will be:

• Learning and retelling the Greek myth 'Theseus and the Minotaur'.
• Retelling verbally, with actions, using story maps and drama.
• Talking about action writing.
• Learning new vocabulary from the story.
• Reading other stories that compliment this.
• Writing our own action stories.
